Bella Tunno, founded by Michelle Buelow, has filled a unique void in the market for baby and children’s accessories with its fun baby basics – bibs, burp cloths, diaper ditties, pacifiers and play smocks – in dozens of eye-catching patterns. What began as a home business has now grown into a sought-after line of accessories carried by the likes of Nordstrom, Target, Baby Gap and over 4,000 international and domestic boutiques. Additionally, the fashion-forward line of baby and children’s accessories has been included in the 2007 Oscar gift baskets, 2006 Golden Globe awards baby gift bags, the 2006 MTV Style Lounge, Everyday with Rachael Ray and various others. Bella Tunno’s extraordinary growth is best demonstrated by its tenfold increase in revenue in just three years of operation. Unfortunately, Buelow’s Cinderella story was overshadowed in 2003 by the death of her brother after a long struggle with his addiction to drugs and alcohol. As a result, Bella Tunno has focused its philanthropic energy towards helping others in the battle against addiction. Bella Tunno has dedicated a percentage of its profits to victims of alcohol and drug abuse and to assist with their rehabilitation.
